Dr. Kenneth E Moon went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 28th, 2014. We rejoice in his going home to be with our Savior and we mourn with those here, family & friends, who will remember and miss him. He was Northside’s longest serving pastor, from July 1960 until September 1979.  It was during his ministry that the church built most of its current buildings and started many of its current ministries, including Northside Christian School.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 4 at 5pm at the First Baptist Church of Orlando.

We want to welcome you to Northside Baptist Church, the big pink church on 38th Avenue North in Saint Petersburg, Florida. We are excited to continue to serve our local community - as we have for over 86 years!

As one of the pastors of the church, I am passionate about genuine worship, genuine discipleship, and genuine care of our congregation. Genuine worship includes singing with passion and joy, bringing our praises and burdens to God in prayer, and ministering to those around us. Genuine discipleship includes submission to our Master, memorizing His words, being active in His ministry, imitating His life and finding other disciples. Genuine care is celebrating life together, knowing each other well, encouraging each other, meeting with each other, and opening our homes in hospitality to one another.

As a guest, please feel free to look through our entire site, but you might want to start with our Guest page as it has some of the information we are regularly asked about.

Thank you and may God bless you!
