Here are the current places that we need volunteers in ministry at Northside. Check back often as new opportunities for worship through service are always arising!

• Welcome Center: We want every guest of our church to feel welcome and to be able to "navigate" our buildings to get to the right place of ministry and worship. We need someone to be a host or hostess at our Welcome Center on Sunday mornings (8:30am to 9:30am and 10:00am to 11:00am) and Wednesday evenings (6:30pm to 7:30pm). • Bulletin Stuffer: We need someone to help fold and stuff our bulletins. Help is needed every week on Thursday or Friday mornings. Contact  Kelly Weller in the church office (381-3642) if you are interested in serving. 

   

• KidWorship: The ministry of leading kids in collective worship to our Lord is exciting and rewarding. We are in need of someone who would be willing to assist in this special ministry. We meet weekly at 10:30 am in S201. Contact Pastor Kurt in the church office (381-3642) if you are interested in serving. 

• LifeLink Ministry: We try to visit every visitor to our Church and every client to our Benevolence ministry. We have teams of people going out every Tuesday night (6:30pm) to make these visits to help people understand our ministry and to present the good news of Jesus Christ. • Cold Weather Shelter: We serve as a cold weather shelter, in partnership with the Pinellas County Coalition for the Homeless. When the weather drops below 40 at night, we open our doors at 6:30pm to the homeless so that they have a warm place to stay. We need people willing to help serve dinner, help provide hospitality throughout the night, help serve breakfast in the morning, and help cleanup when the shelter closes at 6:00am in the morning. Must be flexible in scheduling, compassionate and willing to serve. Contact Pastor Kerm or Kimberly McCollum in the church office (381-3642) if you are interested in serving.

• Member Visitation: We want to make sure our members who have some difficulty in getting out to us have the blessing of our coming to them. We regularly visit our shut-ins and those in the hospital. Contact Pastor Devalin in the church office (381-3642) if you are interested in serving.

• Youth - Small Group Leaders: We run the Word of Life (WOL) clubs for our Youth on Wednesday nights. As part of WOL clubs, we have small discipleship groups setup for each of the kids that come. We need additional adults to serve as leaders of these Discipleship In Action (DIA) groups - particularly women for our young ladies. Must be willing to work with and interact with teens and be willing to serve on Wednesday nights from about 6:45pm to 8:30pm. • Toolbox Ministry: Are you handy with a hammer? Skilled with a saw? Talented with Tools? Our toolbox ministry is a group of such individuals that come together to help with various practical needs of those in our congrergation. The needs may be as small as mowing a lawn or as large as replacing a roof. Must be flexible to work diffirent hours as needs arise. • Wednesday Night Dinners: Are you good in the kitchen? Do you like serving others? We have a team that prepares and serves dinners at church on Wednesday nights. We are looking for (1) a setup person to help at 4:00 pm; (2) a salad person to start preparing foor at 4:00 pm; (3) a cook to help prepare foor at 4:00 pm; (4) serveers to help serve food at 5:30 pm; and (5) clean-up people to help clean-up the kitchen after dinner at 7:00 pm.
